This workshop will introduce you to the art of Welding, it is open to beginners or experienced welders. On the first day you will learn safety and the basics of welding.
The second day you will make a project to take home. If you have something at home that you would like to weld please bring it along with you, it can be a sculptural form you want to create or a functional item you want to make.
Classes between 8 - 12 people (minimum 8 people required)
DATES: 24-25 February 2018/ 24 - 25 March 2018
TIME: 10am – 4pm (arrive 30 minutes early)
COST: $275 (Morning tea and locally grown wholesome lunch included)
There will be metal available on the day for you to make a project.
Students to bring:
Please wear leather boots if you have them, if not good sturdy closed in shoes, long sleeves and long pants.
Clothing should be cotton, preferably heavy duty, such as drill.
Will is a qualified Boilermaker and worked in the industry for forty years. He is highly experienced in various forms of welding, including stick, tig, mig. He has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and is a Safety Auditor. He loves passing on his knowledge to others and assisting them to achieve their goals.
